Bucharest, 2nd of May 2010 – Launched in September last year, FineDrinks.ro soon turned into the largest online poker players community. Unlike other sites with the same profile, FineDrinks.ro „works” based on credits, the so called FDC (Fine Drinks Credits) that each player wins daily, when logging on the site or when participating to tournaments etc.

In 8 months since the site was launched, the prizes awarded in live tournaments reach around 50.000 euro and “in a short while we intend to bring new surprises to our site’ users”, says Andreea Guidea, Managing Partner Zenergy, explaining further.

“With the competition that took place on 1st of May dedicated to our site’s users, and observing the growing professionals’ interest, we decided that the time came to launch the Press Poker Cup".

“Poker is a sport played by many men in Romania and what surprised us is that we have among participants more and more women. When we launched the invitation to the Press, the response was extremely positive. So, we hope to build a tradition!” adds Andreea Guidea.

“We believed in this project since the moment of its presenting, six month before launching it. The site has a satisfactory evolution, but as we always wish for more, we understand to bring some improvements, which definitely everyone will appreciate” said Gyuri Eperjessy – Commercial Director at Alexandrion Grup Romania.

FineDrinks.ro is the first site, where, for free, you can play poker and other casino games. After our successful first live tournament, in December 2009, with prizes worth over 25.000 euro, we decided to repeat the event, in a specific 1st of May context: at the sea side. The novelty that we brought was the invitation towards the Press for their participation at the competition, in a separate tournament from the one dedicated to our users.
