Bucharest – 9th of Mai 2010, Dan Gîrtofan, Double National Champion, the pilot supported by Alexandrion Group got the second place at Arges Rally, the second stage of the Romania’s National Rally Championship. “After the semi-failure called the Brasov Rally, I’ve came to Pitesti with the aim of winning. A difficult rally witch I’ve prepared extensively, implementing the latest specifications and set ups to the car, everything functioned entirely until the fourth SP (special stage) where we were slowed by a flat tire. The pace was perfect, the car worked very well, we recovered the lost time and the last special stages were very high pace, competing directly with Tempesta and Marisca. The team was fantastic, so were the supporters. We thank Alexandrion Grup team and, along with them, we still recommend to let somebody else drive if you had a drink” Giri said.

The Arges Rally took place between 7th and 9th of May 2010, at Pitesti. Romania’s National Championship started on 16th of April, the first stage taking place at Brasov. At the previous race, the pilot Dan Gîrtofan got the fifth position.

“There, he had some technical problems, but now we are happy that the crew Alexandrion Grup Romania is supporting topped the podium. We are convinced that this partnership, so as the others we had until now, will bring us a top position until the end of the year” said Gyuri Eperjessy, Commercial Director at Alexandrion Grup România.

The Championship has 8 stages held throughout the country and more than 50 crews registered. The next race will take place at Targu Mures, between 4th and 6th of June. Dan Gîrtofan obtained so far 28 points.
